Dr. Rachel Hendrickson earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, where she also volunteered and published research under a Dental Public Health Sciences fellowship, after receiving her B.A. from Occidental College in L.A. where majored in English and Comparative Literary Studies, studied Biofilms in a Microbiology Research lab, and swam on a full ride scholarship.

Dr. Hendrickson has a passion for dentistry, and is committed to ensuring her patients receive the very best care possible. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is the joy of Esthetics; smile makeovers and the positive change brought about by such transformations. She believes that a beautiful smile is derived from a healthy foundation, and aims to first establish health/ function, so that beauty/ form can and will follow.

Dr. Hendrickson grew up in a commercial fishing family in Alaska, where her parents still reside, but she now identifies as a Californian, although one who still loves fishing, skiing, and mountain climbing.

Her hobbies include swimming, running, biking, triathlons, spending time with her two young nephews; as well as avid reading and membership in a Women’s Book Club.
